Fallout 4 memes11/11/2023 It's not PERFECT at everything I wanted it to be, but it's pretty much all there now that I've gotten into my rhythm with it.įun fact, I subscribed temporarily to the notion that Dark Souls had ruined all other games for me in 2011 and that included Skyrim. Starfield is nearly the perfect aesthetic to me, and I think after getting over the initial 10-hour dumpy start (too few perks and resources to make things interesting for a while - kinda had to suffer through bland shooting and a general sense of lack of options), it's been everything I kinda wanted it to be. When I returned later, I just ignored them whenever I could and did the bare minimum to progress the story and overall had a great time despite still not really liking it. I just hated the settlement building and management systems on that first contact. It wasn't technical issues that disappointed me at the start - they existed but they didn't prove to be a progression roadblock or massive inconvenience to me. Had pretty deep disappointment in Fallout 4 initially but came back to it after a year and liked it. Starfield > Skyrim > Oblivion > Fallout 3 > Fallout 4 *points below* And with some thoughts attached plz, to avoid turning this into just a drop and go posting grounds.! How aboutchyu, purple commune? Feel free to share 'em opinions with a capital 'O' down there. xP Aka, at the end of the day I do like 'em all, jank and flatness aside, and find a relatively familiar thoroughline that doesn't really set them too far a part from the other, experience-wise. That being said, as you may have noticed, none of the games above were separated by any more than two '>''s. On that note - I think Syrim also wins in the soundtrack department. □ That said, I think Skyrim is a greatly designed sandbox in its own right and BGS' second-most charming world of the five, behind Oblivion's just dragged down by a lot of typical Bethesda-isms that sacrifice depth for convenience. (Yes I do think base FO4 is a better game than base Skyrim, but once again, Skyrim's potential eclipses it with the modularity and the scene at its disposal. Starfield > Fallout 3 > Fallout 4 > Skyrim > Oblivion In the end, Fallout 3 is the most compelling at its base, though, while Starfield struggles with pacing, a sense of coldness in its human element/characterization, and many mishandled systems despite being BGS' greatest technical accomplishment to date. Modded Skyrim, of course, is one of the most flexible, content-rich RPGs of all time. Alright gals and guys, so, in your opinion, of the last five single player BGS games, where does so-and-so place for you? ^^' (Shelter and 76 optional.) Believe it or not, I'm placing Starfield first - but only because we're comparing the vanilla unmoodded versions of these games.
